First training Block of the 2028 Quad.

After taking some much-needed time off to complete my studies and get other aspects of my life on track, I dove straight back into training in Brazil. I spent nearly a month in São Luís, immersing myself in daily sessions with two other highly competitive training partners. Each day was packed with two intense kite sessions, a gym workout, and, as a reward, fresh coconut water straight from a local vendor—only if I felt I’d earned it.

During my time off, I remained committed to my gym routine, and it’s paid off. I feel physically stronger than ever and surprisingly sharp on the water, even after the break. I can quantify this claim with two simple stats- 365 pound front squat and 39.5 knots downwind.

Everything feels like it’s falling into place, and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead. Big plans are in motion, and I’ll be sharing updates once they come to fruition. Stay tuned!
